RULES & REGULATIONS

 A. Individual Eligibility
All participants in an officially sanctioned Beer Olympics event must be in compliance with all drinking laws. In order to verify age and team eligibility participants must:

  • Provide state issued identification authenticating participant’s age.

B. Team Eligibility
All teams must be comprised of 6 members providing required proof under the Individual Eligibility rules is met.

C. Medals
Medals will be awarded to teams at the conclusion of the day according to point standings. The medal designations are as follows:

1st place – Goldschlaugher
2nd place – Silver Agave Tequilla
3rd place – Whiskey (TBD)

Total individual medal points will be accumulated per team and added up to determine the overall team champion. 1st – 3rd place medals will be awarded according to each team.

D. Multi-Heat Events

The following events are multi-heat events:

  • Beer Pong

  • Flip Cup

  • Battleship

  • Das Boot

In each of these events there will be multiple heats of head-to-head competition. The winners in each round of competition advance to the next round of competition.

E. Alternates

No alternates will be allowed to substitute in. If, in the event that a player is no longer able to fulfill his obligation as a team member, the team will be disqualified from the active event. If the player is not able to perform in the remainder of the events, the resulting disqualification will be determined by the panel of judges.

F. Drugs

No performance enhancing paraphanelia (coke, speed, uppers) will be tolerated. This is a competition to test your worth in drinking. Getting high is an unfair advantage towards those who have trained for years naturally.

G. Fighting

Fighting will not be tolerated. Anyone who partakes in a fight will be immediately discharged from the event. If a person participating in aggressive behavior is a member of a BO team, the team is automatically disqualified.

H. Designated Drivers

All Beer Olympics participants will be required to have a DD before they are permitted to leave. If a DD can not be found, a cab must be called. Otherwise, the participant must stay on the premises until their impairment has subsided. No exceptions.
